Los Angeles, CA – A deadly shooting in South Los Angeles left two men dead and five others injured, including a teenage boy, on Friday night. Authorities are actively investigating the incident, which took place in a residential area.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) responded to reports of gunfire around 8 p.m. on the 13200 block of Jarvis Avenue. Deputies found two men suffering from critical gunshot wounds. First responders transported them to a nearby hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.


Officials confirmed that four additional adult men and one male juvenile sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received treatment at area hospitals.

Authorities have not released any information regarding potential suspects or motives. Residents near the crime scene expressed concerns about rising gun violence in the area.
