Tehran, Iran – IRGC to Unveil New Missile and Defense Systems
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is set to introduce advanced missile systems, defense technology, and new combat patrol vessels. This announcement marks a significant step in Iran’s military expansion.
Unveiling Advanced Defense Systems
Brigadier General Hamid Bazm-Shahi confirmed the showcase ahead of the 14th Malek Ashtar Festival. The event will highlight Iran’s latest missile and defense technologies. It will also feature combat patrol vessels with aluminum hulls, a first for the IRGC.
Bazm-Shahi stressed the IRGC’s role in securing national interests. These advancements aim to strengthen Iran’s military infrastructure and enhance maritime security.

Strengthening Military Cooperation
Iran continues to expand military partnerships. The IRGC has conducted joint drills with Russia, China, Iraq, and Oman. Recent exercises, including Prophet Mohammad 18 and 19, highlight Iran’s focus on modern warfare.
Iran’s counterterrorism efforts have intensified. The IRGC has dismantled several terror cells, preventing attacks before execution. Cybersecurity threats remain a concern, with Iran facing 36,000 daily cyberattacks. The IRGC has reinforced cyber defenses to counter these threats.
Infrastructure and Economic Contributions
Beyond defense, the IRGC plays a key role in infrastructure development. In 2023, it completed 542 kilometers of railway construction, metro projects, and water initiatives. The IRGC has also built 36,000 residential units for armed forces personnel.
To improve financial transparency, the IRGC launched two internal auditing units. Additionally, it optimized energy consumption, reducing peak-hour electricity usage by 20%, saving 8 million kilowatt-hours.
Investing in Technology and Security
The IRGC Intelligence Organization has neutralized over 200 terrorist elements. It continues to monitor espionage activities. The festival will also feature new AI and quantum computing advancements, reinforcing Iran’s investment in future technology.

The IRGC will reveal fortification upgrades to protect military assets. These advancements demonstrate Iran’s ongoing efforts to modernize defense forces.
