COLTON, CALIFORNIA – A 34-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly opening fire on patrons outside a restaurant in Colton, San Bernardino County, following a dispute.
Incident Details
The incident occurred just before 12:30 a.m. on Saturday in the 800 block of East Valley Boulevard. According to the Colton Police Department, an altercation inside the restaurant escalated, leading to the suspect returning to the scene in his vehicle and firing multiple rounds at customers before fleeing.
No injuries were reported in connection with the shooting.

Arrest and Investigation
Authorities identified the suspect as Roberto GarciaVieyra, who was taken into custody on Thursday without incident. A firearm, believed to have been used in the shooting, was recovered.
GarciaVieyra has been booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga on suspicion of attempted homicide.
The nature of the dispute that preceded the shooting has not been disclosed by law enforcement.
